From the Sim City Hosusing Crisis Department
March 3, 2008 at 1:11 am | In Gaming, The Sims 2 | Leave a CommentOkay, I started to build a massive housing development on the Sims 2. Glendyne Estate is a fictional housing development I have built, but has real road names, from East Grinstead in West Sussex, where I used to live, when I was in Foster Care. (Such as Holtye Road, Escots Drive and Glendyne Way.) However, some roads are made up fiction. The street near the Vioduct is based on Gardener Road in East Grinstead and is on one of the many council estates in the town.
All the houses are very modern and look really cool. They are modern and stylish. I have started a massive refurbishment programme, where I am ripping out all the “crappy” bathrooms and kitchens and replacing them with quite modern ones. Each kitchen is also being fitted with a smoke alarm, so if your Sims set fire to the kitchen, (Which they seem to like to do) it will sound the alarm and call Fireman Fred to come and put the fire out in his bright Red Fire Tender. However, you could click the fire and choose Extinquish if you want, but I think calling Firemen Fred out and letting your Sims panic is more fun
I have one family moved in allready, who are a Modern Traveller Family. I hope that my new family settle in well in their new home and don’t either wreck it or burn it down! Only time will tell. Hehe! I know I take the Sims so seriouslly, but that is what makes it so fun, because you can “play God” and control every part of their life! It is up to you how you make your Sims lives, and if you make them a home maker or if you make them a homewrecker, the choice is yours!
I am off to bed anyway, as I am quite tired, so Goodnight
