From the when illnesss sucks Department

Okay, I got Glandular Fever and it really sucks! I have a sore throat, I am tired and weak. Today, I decided to get Chinese, because me or my partner cannot be arsed to cook, so we went to the takeaway. The chef didn’t clearly know what he was doing, because he didn’t even know what kind of oil the noodles were cooked in, so we had to get a refund and dart to Tesco. When we walked out the takeaway, Rhys (my other half) yelled out “chi chi, which is Chinese for I love you. This made me laugh so hard, even though you could not hear anything, as I had lost my voice earlier in the day.

Tesco isn’t much better, we couldn’t find the Pot Noodles, as they were not with the pasta. The woman at the Customer Services desk took the mick as I was whispering, but she was soon told why I was and the self service checkouts were slower than the manned checkouts.

 What a day!
