From the electrifying experience in Asda department
October 11, 2007 at 3:50 pm | In Funny | Leave a CommentYesterday, I went to Asda in Essex and had a rather “shocking experience”. I went to the toilet, did my buisness and washed my hands. I went and pressed the button for the hand dryer and had 240 volts jolt right up my arm. I went to the Customer Services desk and made a complaint, was made to show them which dryer was faulty and filled in an accident report form.
I am now going to sue Asda, because I have a very sore right arm, which is painful to move and I have been really shaken up by the whole thing. Knowing Asda, they will try their hardest to get out of this, by saying that there was nothing wrong with the dryer, but the doctor can prove otherwise. This wont get to court, Asda won’t like being taken to court and having their name draggd through the mud, (though I am going to do this anyway and ring up the sun and expose em!) so this will end up as a out of court settlement and I could end up with a few thouand to spend. Lets see what happens, and I will let you know what happens…
From the when illnesss sucks Department
October 8, 2007 at 9:43 pm | In Personal | Leave a CommentOkay, I got Glandular Fever and it really sucks! I have a sore throat, I am tired and weak. Today, I decided to get Chinese, because me or my partner cannot be arsed to cook, so we went to the takeaway. The chef didn’t clearly know what he was doing, because he didn’t even know what kind of oil the noodles were cooked in, so we had to get a refund and dart to Tesco. When we walked out the takeaway, Rhys (my other half) yelled out “chi chi, which is Chinese for I love you. This made me laugh so hard, even though you could not hear anything, as I had lost my voice earlier in the day.
Tesco isn’t much better, we couldn’t find the Pot Noodles, as they were not with the pasta. The woman at the Customer Services desk took the mick as I was whispering, but she was soon told why I was and the self service checkouts were slower than the manned checkouts.
What a day!
